This policy sets out the standards for using the Brainboost AI platform, app, and website (together, "the Platform") to ensure a safe, fair, and positive learning environment for all users: students, parents, and educators.

2. Respectful Conduct

Users must:

• Use the Platform responsibly and only for educational purposes.
• Treat others (students, teachers, moderators, and staff) with respect and courtesy.
• Avoid offensive, discriminatory, or bullying behaviour.
• Not upload, post, or share any content that is harmful, harassing, threatening, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise inappropriate.

3. Appropriate Content

You must not upload or share content that:

• Contains or promotes violence, hatred, self-harm, or illegal activity.
• Includes another person's personal information without consent.
• Infringes the intellectual property of others, except where permitted for learning (see Section 4).
• Contains malware, spam, or attempts to disrupt the Platform.

4. Academic Integrity

Brainboost AI exists to help you learn, practise, and check your understanding – not to replace your own thinking.

You are encouraged to:

• Take photos of your homework, school, or exam-style questions to ask for help.
• Use explanations and step-by-step guides to learn how to solve similar problems on your own.

You must not:

• Upload entire exam papers or teacher-only materials clearly marked as confidential or restricted.
• Share paid or subscription-based resources publicly without permission.
• Use Boost to generate or submit work as if it were your own in an assessed or graded task.

5. Account Use and Security

• Keep your login details private.
• Do not impersonate others or misrepresent your identity.
• Parents and guardians are responsible for monitoring the use of accounts created for children under 13.

6. Data Protection

All users must comply with Brainboost AI's Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

Do not attempt to collect, share, or misuse data about other users.

7. Reporting and Enforcement

• Any breach of this policy may result in content removal, suspension, or permanent termination of access.
• You can report harmful or inappropriate content to tech@brainboostai.co.uk.
• Brainboost AI may cooperate with schools or law enforcement when necessary to ensure user safety.

8. Policy Updates

We may revise this policy periodically to reflect changes in law or platform operations.

Any updates will be posted on our website, and continued use of the Platform after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
